From Wednesday 30th August to Sunday 3rd September, music lover's eyes are all set on Venice as the eighth edition of Home Festival begins! Home is becoming one of the greatest European festivals for many reasons.

This year the organizer have some new features to make the experience more enjoyable for everyone: free water will be available for all and payments will be easier with cashless "token".

Home Festival has been awarded as the Best Festival at the Coca Cola  2017 Onstage Awards, a prestigious recognition that puts the festival on top of the list of the European festivals. Home won this important recognition for the third time... another demonstration that it's actually possible to organize a multi-day event like this in Italy and to offer different genres of  music to a very heterogeneous audience, musical lovers and critics. An absolute success that confirms the importance of Home Festival on an international scale.

 

The first day healiner will be our amazing Duran Duran with a fantastic show that represent their 40 years career. This band has spent four decades evolving and experimenting, selling over 100 million records, placing more than twenty songs on the Billboard Hot 100 and thirty in the UK Top 40. Their critically acclaimed 2015 release, Paper Gods, it's the band's 14th album. This show is part of the last leg of their World Tour that makes only three stops in the old continet [the other two are August 29th Salata Open Air in Zagreb,  and September 3rd at the Electric Picnic Festival in Laois, Ireland]

 

SECURITY

 

The organizers assures the highest levels of security existing in Europe. For years the whole area of the festival has been entirely controlled with video surveillance. At the entrance there are metal detectors but also the most modern X-ray machines. There are hundreds of security personnel, in all the areas where the events will be held.

The "home" of music has its own "garden". The camping is called "Home Garden" and thanks to the collaboration with Lemonade and The Pop Up Hotel the area offers more services for a unique experience in total comfort. The Garden is a micro-world that combines holiday, fun and sharing. The proximity to the Main Stage, within walking distance, allows guests to relax and at the same time to participate in all Home Festival activities and events, anytime they want. This year, guests can choose different types of accomodations: Premium Camping, Standard, Classic, Superior [with double bed], Basic Camping and Full Camping. Many more services are available, including luggage storage, bathroom facilities and showers, lounge area and food tuck, and a 24h/24h transfer to and from the camping site to the main train station in Treviso Centrale.
